I went to use it this week and it's dead completely dead for no reason, and the bitch of it is I've had it so long sitting unused that it's out of warranty. Id recommend something like the ninja combo blender / food processor. It's never seen any abuse, or even any real use. I've basically never even used this one except to make mayonnaise and aioli, and only that a very few times over a long period. Honestly, food processors can even make smoothies with the right amount of liquid. ![]() With the above you can make smoothies that have a good amount of milk or plant milk, it's not going to just turn any fruit into a smoothie without extra liquid like a vitamix can. They only work with soft or fully cooked ingredients with a considerable amount of liquid. Immersion blenders are the least important, and can do the least. It's not super heavy duty but just take care of it and take it easy on it and it will last a long time. It's a pretty common set, inexpensive and great for beginners. The one that can do the most is a food processor with blender cup and slicer and grating attachments. Note: If you report someone or a post, please let us know why, thank you.
